The regular meeting of the American Baptist Women Sisterhood will be held on Friday, at 6:00 p.m. In this meeting, we will observe Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Ladies from Sisters Supporting Sisters will be our Guests Panelists for our program. The Theme is Sisters Supporting Sisters: Ministering to Others through Faith, Hope and Love. This is one of our Community Outreach Programs and we need the support, participation, and attendance of every Sister. Our Brothers are also invited. If you can, please dress comfortably in pink attire, such as T-Shirts, slacks, skirts, shirts, caps, jogging suits, etc. Our Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign will kick off at the meeting with the selling of the pink pins for $1.00 each. Funds raised will go the support the YWCA Encore Plus Breast Cancer Awareness Program at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center. All ladies are encouraged to attend at that time, and please bring a friend with you.

The American Baptist Women Sisterhood will host the Annual College Night Fellowship on Friday, October 21, 2011, 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Please support and encourage our students from Southern University, LSU Baton Rouge Community College, and other surrounding Universities, as well as prospective college students, to attend.
